Tea is one of the worlds most preferred beverage.
There are usually three types of tea,that is green tea,black tea and oolong tea(not so common)
Moderate consumption of tea is healthy but having too much of it is where the problem comes in.
BELOW ARE SOME OF THE SIDE EFFECTS OF DRINKING TOO MUCH TEA:
1.Increased anxiety,restlessness and stress.
Over consuming tea causes anxiety and restlessness.if you happen to notice any of these symptoms reduce your tea consumption or stay away from tea completely.
Over drinking tea may cause a reduction in melatonin production and disrupt your normal sleep patterns.
3.Excessive consumption of Tea may cause Nausea
Tannins in tea may cause digestive system problems especially in sensitive individuals resulting to nausea.
Caffeine in tea normally causes preexisting acid re flux contributing to acid production in the stomach.
5.Complications during pregnancy
Some complications of consuming too much caffeine when pregnant may include.
-low infant birth weight
6.Over dependence on caffeine
Caffeine is really addictive and if it happens you stop consuming it,it will result to some symptoms such as fatigue,irritability and headaches.
